About: Sitio da Torre is owned and operated by Álvaro Coli. He is a reputable producer in Brazil having placed in the Brazil Natural’s Cup of Excellence in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015. Álvaro is proactive in his farming philosophy. You will often find him cupping in the lab analysing his coffees; next level! Located in the municipality of Carmo de Minas, Sitio da Torre (meaning tower) bears some of the highest elevations in the Mantiqueira de Minas region, reaching around 1300 masl. Fourth generation coffee farmers, the Coli family currently produces both natural and pulped natural methods.
