SENIOR SALES MANAGER - AUS

The purpose of the head of sales is to build and instill trust throughout the sales team in Australia.  Work in alignment with the PMC Vision accomplish sales, revenue, and marketing goals, expanding all markets for Proud Mary in AUS while supporting total company growth goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

WHOLESALE & SALES - Oversee all sales and sales activity in AUS. Serve as the most senior member of PMC Sales team in AUS. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Be accountable to Sales goals established as part of the PMC’s Operating Plan &  Be responsible for meeting exceeding annual sales revenue plan for PMC B2B sales in the AUS.
  • Pipeline Management - Be the point person for all “Outbound Sales” in the AUS. Uphold and execute the PMC methodology for proactively navigating Sales ‘lifecycle’ from opportunity to close.   
  • Proactively manage and report on Sales Targets on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Inbound Strategy – manage and see through the in-bound customer lifecycle, including vetting through to onboarding the right fits.
  • Channel Management – help in the development and management of new channels of business in the AUS, including potential.

RETENTION - Be accountable to all retention efforts in the AUS.  Help manage current and future Retention team in support of company goals to be the most trusted supplier in a competitive landscape.

  • Help uphold all of Proud Mary’s key B2B relationships nationally.  
  • Help uphold all of Proud Mary’s key relationships  – equipment vendors, suppliers, etc. 
  • Generally, help drive volume growth among existing customers.
  • Support and provide direction for the Retention team members. Help resource and prioritise customer retention initiatives. 
  • Lead onboarding of new customers, post-close to active and supported.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Serve as an evangelist for the Brand on the ground and in the field and help us keep everyone “in the loop”, from our employees to customers or the rest of the outside world, help get the word out. 
  • Participate actively in Marketing and Promotional Activity for PMC B2B.  Be accountable for maintaining an active voice for the PMC B2B on behalf of customers and Proud Mary alike.
  • Develop and execute marketing efforts such as special events, promotions, partnerships, collaborations, and other activities that support the visibility of the business. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 5 years of sales and or restaurant management experience.
  • 5 Years Management experience, preferably in wholesale and retail programs and channels.
  • At least 2 years demonstrated experience in business development and outbound sales. Specialty Coffee preferred. 
  • Experience in a multi-discipline operation.
  • Product knowledge mastery and demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for coffee.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Working knowledge of financial and enterprise systems and programs.  - Unleashed, Xero, Hubspot and Ordermentum.
  • Financial fundamentals, including basic books and record keeping.
  • Knowledge of profit/loss and a high degree of proficiency in Excel.
  • Working knowledge of the MS Suite
  • Competency in CRM platforms.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally as part of a large or small project team.
  • Should have solid understanding of specialty coffee in the US as well as Food and Beverage.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Based out of Melbourne Australia.
  • Work is performed across the AUS & US markets
  • Will also include work in and travel to other targeted Regions and states for B2B expansion including the US.
