About: SítioDoisIrmãosis a family-run farm in Brazil’sMantiqueirade Minas region, where coffee production is shaped by generational knowledge and a gradual shift toward quality-focused practices. The farm isoperatedby the Vilas Boas family, whose work reflects a broader movement within the region toward more intentional and precise coffee production.
For many years, the farm followed a traditional, volume-driven model. A turning point came in 2013 when the family partnered with the COCARIVE cooperative, gaining access to technical support and a network of quality-focused producers. This relationship encouraged changes in both farming and processing, leading to a more selective and controlled approach.
Today, the farm is managed by Antônio Vilas Boas’ sons,Allanand Allex, whorepresenta new generation building on their family’s foundation. Their work centers on careful farm management, including pruning, soil health, and organic fertilization, alongside improved post-harvest practices.
SítioDoisIrmãosreflects the steady evolution ofMantiqueiraproducers—family-led operations refining their methods to produce consistent, high-quality coffees with long-term sustainability in mind.
