About: Producer Josue Morales unveils one of his seven bags of 100 year old Bourbon. This is the one and only bag exported to the US....the other 6 bags of coffee remain in the homeland of Guatemala. The plants were already in place 100 years ago from the records of the farm it originally belonged to which was called El Pintado. “These plants are unlike any I’ve worked with before” - Josue Morales. They were unaffected by the frost from January, unaffected by the drought and also survived the worst of Roya (plant fungus). The plants tend to produce higher screen beans (bigger in size) that are highly aromatic and extremely powerful in taste.
