About: Located 45 minutes north of Pitalito, Finca El Recuedo is accessible only by foot. The slower, cool and longer fermentation process is partly responsible for the unique flavour profile. The longer fermentation presents a profile similar to that of a semi-washed or honey processed coffee. The surrounding hills and ridges of El Recuedo provide natural shade at different times of the day assisting in the gradual and steady growth of the coffee. Earlier in 2016 he purchased an additional hectare of land and is in the process of nursing Tabi and Pink Bourbon trees.
