About: The Nyagashiha mill is one of the 13 that make up the Akawa project, created to help producers escape the cycle of poverty in a sustainable and equitable way. Producers striving for better remuneration and better living conditions demanded a way towards prosperity. As such, the project is based on meeting and eventually exceeding the UTZ certifications standards focussing on good agricultural practices, environmental sustainability, and social equity. This coffee from Nyagashiha was double sorted producing a coffee with a silky mouthfeel and delicate floral notes.
