About: Mr Ovidio ‘Machete’ Gomez knows how to grow good coffee. His honey processed Red and Yellow Catuai is sweet, complex, and syrupy. Ovidio loves processing experiments to create new and tasty profiles with his coffee. He processed his first Catuai honey a few years ago now, and we found it to be so delicious we have asked him to make it every year since. The honey process enhances sweetness and jacks up the mouthfeel to syrupy! Ovidio has been working with Proud Mary Coffee since 2012, and every year we have purchased his coffee. In that time, we have grown together! Refining our respective crafts to deliver you some damn fine coffee. This harvest, expect some exotic flavours to shoot out of Finca El Paraiso and into your cups!
